Now this was really fun because our story at Supergenius was themed around Theseus and the Minotaur.
The Minotaur is defined as being a monster, the offspring of Pasiphaƫ and the Cretan bull, that had the
head of a bull on the body of a man: housed in the Cretan Labyrinth, it was fed on human flesh until Theseus
killed it. I thought what if (in this alternate reality) the story of the Minotaur had been passed down through
the ages incorrectly or misinterpreted...
What if it had the head of a bull and... (not: the body of a man, but was actually) the bodies of men...
(or given life from the flesh of men.) Due to the sacrificial altar on its back, blood and flesh would flow down
into the ground and the essence of those tortured people gave life to the minotaur. So this minotaur would
be made out of stone, ice and flesh. Kind of a sick and twisted idea but was interesting to play around with.
This is why I love my job not only can I manipulate things visually but conceptually as well.
